Well, I know I ratted on the Canucks earlier but they did the best that they could. One has to remember that they really did have a really crappy first-half of the season and their hot streak probably covered up a few critical flaws that came back to haunt them. And, just like the Flames in round one, they probably took the 'Hawks a little too lightly and might have got stuck looking forward too far instead of concentrating on the here-and-now. It'll be interesting to see the post-elimination analysis as usual. Ten bucks says that, once again just like the Flames were, the Canucks probably were covering up a fair number of injuries that began to negatively affect them.

Onwards and upwards! It's only four months until training camp opens! Boo-yah!

Every team has 8 or 10 healthy players hanging around at this time of year. If they got a player that's going affect the team negatively because of injury, they need to be replaced.
