Hope they can play the next two periods like they did this one, then go on to do the same to Nashville, then guaranteed they're playing Detroit for #1 in the league. That would be a good game.

Canucks seem to be on a roll right now, but in the west it would seem that all roads are leading to Detroit, and they have everyone convinced they can't lose at home! 8O

Well, so far, at least in the last, what....23 games at home.....they would be correct in that assumption....

But, we'll see what the Nucks do in the motor city this week.

I'm not liking their chances, but like you said let's see what happens.

If the Canucks do win or whenever the unbroken win streak comes to an end the Wings will now have a valid excuse....

Why wouldn't you like their chances? Vancouver's road record is the best in the NHL. They're the first team to get 20 wins on the road.

Can't win them all, but still disappoint. Luongo made some crazy saves though.

It may not have been the most exciting game of the season for either team, but considering what was at stake it was a great game to watch, more so if you happen to be a 'Nucks fan. The 2 top teams in the NHL vying for the top spot and Detroit trying to keep a 23 game undefeated at home streak alive. Detroit may still be ranked #1 in the League but their lead over the Canucks is now only 1 point and the Canucks have a game in hand over them. No matter how you look at it the Wings couldn't have done much more in trying to keep their streak alive, with the game going into OT after Vancouver tied the game with only 16 seconds left. It took a goal by Burrows, as Vancouver's 3rd shooter to finally end the game in Vancouver's favour in the shootout......

GO CANUCKS

Victory, woohoo. Not nearly as entertaining, but they worked through the exhaustion to Win.

Puts them on top of the NHL, not too shabby.

Missed all but last 3 min.

Always good to see a win in regulation time.
