Hmm.. didn't heir harper promise an elected senate? then appointed 18 losers to fill 19 seats ( mike duffy take up 2)... liar liar can't be trusted ...

The opposition was so cozy to an elected senate weren't they?

Now that the Liberal advantage in the senate is gone I bet they will change their minds. No sense keeping something that is of no advantage to you. Give him a majority and you will get an elected senate.

We don't need an elected Senate any more than we need an appointed one. One house of politicians is plenty enough. "We shouldn't have a senate" should have been one of the poll options.
