damn! dude has balls
for the most part I agree with what he's saying there, a bit heavy on the 'conspiracy theory' stuff, but I am also known to accuse the US with imperialism and totalitarianism.
what really bugs me and breaks my heart is that for the most part our own gov't is right there helping the US grow stronger. I even think our gov't is guilty of it's own international exploitation.
I have no evidence to support or refute that though..
Many believe that the US is up to no good, but who can stop them?

He seems like one twisted individual. Seems he has a few complexes that need attention. He is definately a mental health candidate.

I agree for the most part. He is right on the money with the Israel arguement. Although he forgot to mention all the other countries that the US has destroyed due to military and political intervention.

It's not that everyone in Canada buys into what the author of the letter said BUT that the government of the u.s.a. has ACTUALLY done a good part of what was written, thus making it easier to believe

The person who wrote that letter has some serious issues he needs to deal with...Reading his rant6s remined me oif the movie Dr Starangelove.. from the 60's...There were a few points where he might have been warm, but myself I think he's off his rocker..

LMAO Americans give a dam about AMERICANS.....They dont dislike us because of that... They just think about them selves all the time....And when they DO think about some one else, there is usually a self serving motive as to why they are helping out.....

That's right Americans only care about American intests. If Canada wants to get it's own men killed for someone elses intrests then thats Canada's business. But do not expect Americans to share the same opinion.

Well the name I picked is from a book called "The Ugly American". I'm suprised you never heard of it, the French love it.

I've heard of that one for years, but I wouldn't bother reading it. I just came back from overseas and I can assure you most US travelers are keeping a low profile. The French must love it because it makes fun of the US in some way. They are having a huge wave of anti-Americanism there and not only because of it's foreign policy. US companies are being targeted by demonstrators daily.
I spent a little time with a couple from New Jersey when I was there and they were seriously going to tell people they were Canadian, but were worried about being asked about Canada and not knowing anything about it. So I poked a little fun at their ignorance and gave them a few tips if they wanted to pull that one off. After they'd spent some time outside their country they realised the rest of the world has allot more information available to them and actually read or watch it.

what really annoyed me about this letter was the sweeping generalizations, not unlike those that canadians insist americans make about them (all canadians live in igloos, aboot, and so on) and the idea that americans do not care about corruption in the government. i will not speak for the entire country, because i HATE the lax political attitude here, but i am wary of the encroachment on the constitution (and a registered republican, too. just to give you some perspective) and do not support the many american "peace keeping" missions. i would like to raise my most serious objections to those that people forgot about, i.e. bosnia, somolia, etc. that were started under the clinton administration
