It's baffling why some numbnuts can't see that a further destabilized ME, due to rise of radical Islamic governments across the Arab world, will have some bearing on Canada(seeing as it will have global impact rather than mere regional ones). They must enjoy playing the anal ostrich.

I used Israeli because they speak 15 different dialects along with English, and Arabic. I figured they could be speaking a mix of any of them when they took up residence in Cairo.

Partially, yes. The other part being that Freedom is preferable to Dictatorship.

The most you'd ever see in worst case scenario is a reoccupation of the Sinai. I just got back from there a few days ago. The rise of an islamic government in Egypt definitely has them ...alert. They're keeping a close eye on the Arab rez in Gaza, not so much the West Bank. I think the West Bank Jordanians are learning that if you don't poke the Israelis too hard they'll leave you alone....comparatively speaking....and the people can build homes, businesses and infrastructure.
