BeaverFever BeaverFever:
Don’t the yellow vests have all kinds of socialist demands for a larger welfare state and more regulation? Funny to see the righties taking on their cause just because they oppose this particular fuel tax.

If you think that, then watch this....

I’m mainly seeing the vandalism angle here.

Typical, eyes wide shut, mind like a closet on December 21st at midnight and because it does not fit the ideology of a raving leftie.

Funny that’s basically the opposite of what you said about the Women’s marches against Trump, any First Nations protests, and Occupy movement, whom you called “leftist vermin” and “traitors” here:

http://www.canadaka.net/forums/random-i ... lit=Occupy

While we’re at it, A couple pages later on that thread you said:

$1:
It's never failed to amaze me the irony or paradox of the leftist. You people want 'internationalism' yet you oppose the most powerful proven force for bridging the differences between people: trade and the commerce of multi-national corporations.

You people want countries without borders yet you oppose trade without borders.

Aren’t you claiming to be trade isolationist?

Still not able to provide original thoughts of your own, huh? That’s quite a pattern with you. Keep working on it.

And as if you’re some kind open-minded person who values diverse views or something ...pffft. Conservative actually means opposed to new to ideas

I never said that the actions of those traitors were not 'democratic'. They are.

They're still leftist vermin and traitors.

And to be clear on trade I support fair trade but failing that I'll take isolationism.

A better question is why are they traitors, I doubt he thinks protesters are automatically traitors.

French riot police are now using semi-automatic weapons with live ammunition against Yellow Vest protestors as Macron's law and order crisis spirals

Officers were filmed brandishing weapons by Arc de Triomphe in Paris today
Riot police were on crowd control duty today facing off a mob of Gilet Jaunes
Rifles at demonstration by unarmed citizens show how Macron crisis intensifies
Last week former conservative minster said live fire should be used on 'thugs'

Week 10

France in flames: 84,000 Yellow Vest protesters take to the streets across six cities as they attack a bank and riot beside Napoleon's tomb in Paris on the TENTH weekend of demonstrations

Tear gas, water cannon and flash ball guns used by Paris police at Les Invalides, where body of Napoleon is
A police officer at the scene said hundreds of riot police were being attacked by Yellow Vest protesters
Demonstrations mark 10th weekend of violence to hit French capital since Macron's controversial policies
The protests hit six cities all over France, including Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille, Angers and Toulouse
The biggest demonstration occurred in the southern city of Toulouse, where around 10,000 people took part

Says the guy (one of them anyway) who keeps insisting Trump is a fascist because that's the leftist mantra.

Perhaps you can help me with something because I'm having a real hard time recalling. Did Trump ever order the police to fire on his own citizens, even when they protested violently against him? Look at the simulated murders and beheadings of Trump by American citizens. Are they being shot? How about rounded up and sent to camps or disappearing in the middle of the night? No?
Huh, and yet Macron ordered his police to fire [live rounds if necessary] at people protesting against yet another tax grab. A tax grab that is being directed by the UN, an un-elected body that had stepped WAY out of it's reason for existing.

To repeat what I said in a similar thread on here, the French "ruling elite" have gone from 'Let them eat cake' to 'Let them eat lead'.

But you know what the most fucked up thing about all of this is? There are representatives on the UN from countries that have no free vote for the people, voting on resolutions that affect OTHER countries. If your country refuses even basic democracy, you have no right having representation on the UN where you get to take part in a democratic process. Well, unless you're an EU country, then you get fucked on certain UN votes.
