Example # 1032 of how FOX is anything but a proper news organisation and only a propaganda outfit so ridiculous, not even George Orwell himself could have dreamed it up.

Yellow journalism has been around forever. It was funny when Robertson said he saw the Fox reporter more often at breakfast than out on tours of Tripoli.

On the other side of that...security forces loyal to long time Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi arrested four Al Jazeera Arabic employees who have been working in western Libya for several days.

Gotta give it to AJ correspondents some of them have mighty big balls.

Why couldn't this have been thought through before? I'm all for the no-fly zone, but lets have some sort of a plan here. At the very least, we need a command.

It was a snap decision that people felt needed to be resolved yesterday. Canada needs to start scaling back or say loud and clear that we have reached the limit of our involvement in this debacle. What is going to happen, Harper and McKay are going to leave the door open in parliament to contribute to the inevitable ground force. France, Britain and the states will hammer Libya, NATO will smooth things over with Turkey and a regime change will be planned.

Without the US taking command of military action, this was doomed to fail as a 'joint' operation.

The French haven't been in NATO's command structure or on any operations since the 1960's, yet they want to take on a leadership role?

Everybody should go home and let the French deal with this on their own. They have the military capability but who wants to be under French command?

"The French haven't the nature for war. Their Gallic laziness combines with their Latinate voluptuousness with the result that they would rather eat and make love with their faces than fight."

I'm a bit confused. There is talk of putting the French in command. I though the talked was to help the rebels win, not to have the French show them the most elegant way to surrender.
