Why waste the time quoting me if your not going to address the quote?

Could say the same about this quote? :P

You are saying Iran or like Canada may enjoy taking orders from other countries I really doubt that. So I stated I doubt the Royal Navy likes Iran boarding their ships and I doubt their sailors like Iran telling them what to do. I doubt many Canadian sailors would like Iran giving us orders or infringing on our sovereignty or would like a numerous amount of countries to do so. I think Canadians like working under Canadian officers more at least I would. But I guess some of the soldiers could answer that if they like being under Canadian command or do they prefer to be under other's nation's command? Or have another country and people giving you orders?

Funny! Your picture does not show you as being BLONDE.

I was actually born one but I am more a brunette now. Still better than being a blue noser though. ;)

Heh heh! If Bluenosers did not exist western Canada would be as backward as China is today. They established trade with the rest of the world and for the benefit of the rest of Canada. I'm proud to be a Bluenoser.

Is Iran trying to provoke War? ROTFL

Must be why they've recently moved more Aircraft Carriers to the Gulf. Must be why they named the US part of the "Axis of Evil" years ago. Oh wait!!!

If the British were in Iranian Territorial Waters, then the Iranians have every Right to do this. If not, then they didn't. Simple as that.

CBC news at noon said that the British sailors were actually in Iranian (not Iraq) territorial waters and have been captured.

The Iran government must keep the smuggling lanes open to Iraq what.

The waters are disputed, but only by Iran, which handed them over to Iraq in 1975. The Iranians only 'acted' when they were up against a couple of inflatables and British sailors and marines armed with sidearms.

ROTFL

Oh dear lord... Iran "provoking" the US... what a hoot. Unless Iran starts parking a naval fleet off the shores of New York, this can't be regarded as "provoking".

oh wait... isn't the US doing that?

What do bet that if the British fleet were in it's own waters this would never have happened. :P

Well, if they're as backward as most here would have me believe perhaps they don't have GPS. Hell, they're probably still using charts drawn like thousands of years ago, eh mate.

Interesting to see the sides people on the forum take. Not surprising though.

Your sooo right Ruez. There's certainly little on this forum that surprises me either aside from Bluenose requesting logic where it's seldom found.

Yes I find it interesting how so many will automatically assume Iran was justified and the British must have been trespassing.
