You mean the "sailors" (that's actually funny) that are parked on Iran's doorstep?

Well, they ARE sailors, considering they all work onboard HMS Cornwall in the marine armed force.

And being on Iran's doorstep matters not - they were in IRAQ, with UN support, and they had just inspected a ship suspected of smuggling cars.

You make it sound like they aren't SOLDIERS... which they are... but hey, whatever makes them sound all nice and innocent... kind of like "friendly" fire, and "collateral" damage.

And yes, it does matter that they are parked on the shores of Iran. What if Iran parked it's military right outside the borders of the UK... would that matter? I doubt you'll have a reasonable answer to this one.

Enough with the UN already... just a convenient excuse to justify military aggression... doesn't mean it's right and moraly justified because the "UN says so".

Most of you here already have labeled Iran an "enemy"... for the most rediculous and uneducated reasons I have ever seen.

So kidnapping foreign soldiers in foreign waters is Iran's way of showing that it is a "friendly" country?

I don't think it's ridiculous to label Iran an enemy after it has kidnapped British soldiers in Iraqi waters.

Actually, they were picked up in a region that is disputed over who "owns" it. Perhaps the Brits need to mind their own business and stop playing with fire like they are... if they are going to flirt with the Iranians, then they get what they deserve.

And you call it kidnapping. What would you call the situation that happened where the US picked up the Iranian diplomat? "Kidnapping"? I highly doubt it.

If Iran is now an enemy, that is only because the US/UK have provoked them into such a position. If they fight back, they are now the aggressor?? That sense of logic is ass-backward, much like your way of thinking. If Iran chooses to not be pushed around, then it's called self-defense... not agression. The western government put sanctions on this country, surrounds it with enough firepower to flatten it, and a couple of navy boys cruising in an area they shouldn't be in...get picked up, and all of sudden they are EVIL and BAD. HA!
You're pathetic. Firstly if indeed they were in disputed waters where does Iran get their authority to kidnap foreign soldiers? Secondly it's disgusting though not surprising that your sympathies and loyalties lie with Iran.

You heap them with praise when they stand up for terrorists in Palistine, the rights of North Korea to kill more of it's own people or when they approve turn a blind eye to the tyrany of Cuba, so why the scorn now?
Maybe it's because whoever is the enemy of the west is you're friend?
Who indeed is kidding who?

How about asking yourself the same question smart guy... What gives the Brits the right to be in those same waters? Oh wait... I'll answer that one for ya... the UN?

And yes... my sympathies are with Iran. The people of Iran don't deserve this, and many of them are living on borrowed time... the west will push this war through and many innocent people will die as a resut of this. I know that doesn't mean anything to you...

If Iran kicked the shit out of the US in this next war, I would feel no sympathies for them since they are only getting what is coming to them. Kind of like when I watch GWB stand in front of a camera, and try and defend his rediculous war on terror... as pathic as it is becoming. It should be named the War OF Terror, as pointed out by Borat.

I kind of like rooting for the underdog... the kid that gets picked on by the bully.

You'll have to refresh my memory, or quote me somewhere if you are going to put words in my mouth...

And no... you are wrong on the last point too.

Let's assume the UK was in disputed waters. What soldiers did they kidnap? That's right none, they were looking for smugglers. Whereas Iran kidnapped foreign soldiers. What exactly are the Iranian people going through? If indeed they suffer at all then they have the power to overthrow their despotic regime that subsidizes terrorism and drives them closer to nuclear war. Every country in the world has the opportunity to live freely as long as they don't threaten other nations. Iran can't be considered a nation that doesn't threaten others. And frankly who are you to decide what country deserves what? I'd like to see you put your money where your mouth is traitor. Go to the mid east and join your countrymen. You are too much of a coward to be a real Canadian.

Wow, 9000 posts Tricks. And 99% of them just as stimulating as this last one.

Time to find a girlfriend and/or get a life.
I've got a life dickweed. I am just able to multi-task. Try it sometime? Maybe you don't have the mental capacity for it?

Ya, you seem like you really have a good thing going over there tricks. Keep up the multitasking.
Alright, I'll continue uploading CDs, reading the forum, doing calculus, and talking to people on MSN. Douchebag.

Like I said, you really seem to have a good thing going. How about going to the tropics and trying to tan out that blue tint you skin has absorbed?
Was in florida a few weeks ago, so I am plenty tanned.

The British were in IRAQI waters under the UN.

The British aren't gonna be kissing Iran's ass - we'll be kicking it soon if we don't get our soldiers back.

Really?... prove it. And no need to post some piece of crap from Sky News either. I don't read propoganda... other than for a laugh.

No you just believe the enemies propaganda.

Nice dodge.

Perhaps if the Brits weren't sticking their noses in other countries affairs like they historically do... then they wouldn't be in this predicament.

The UN authorised the Royal Navy to protect and patrol that sea lane. You would rather believe a Theocratic and oppressive regime over a Democracy.

Your slant on things is well known and very obvious.
