Syria and Iran are allies. The reason why a US attack on them is imminent has nothing to do with WMD or even terrorism. Those 2 excuses are used once more again to create a pretext for the invasion. Iran is planning to create an oil exchange (bourse) to sell oil in Euro and Syria is following course. The purpose is to destabilize the US by reducing the demand for its currency. Since the US moved away from the gold standard, its currency practically depends on oil trade, which is done in US dollar. Moving away fromit may have disastrous consequences to the US economy.<br /> <br /> The last country that tried to do that recently was Iraq and look what happened. <br />
