One of the great things about Canada, imo, is that for the most part people do leave their issues at home. Serbians and Bosnians, or Turks and armenians, or any number of groups you care to name may be a little uncomfortable around one another at times. They may even say terrible things about and to one another, but there's rarely any violence. And generally it only takes a generation or 2 for them to start realizing how stupid all that stuff back "home" is.
Sweet. Compared to some of the stuff that the far right in my own homeland (and the countries that surround it) is pushing (it's a long story, who wronged who and when, who was the traitor), Canada sounds like a paradise.
