Can weigh up to 500 - 600 kg. Did not know that. Apparently the eagles are doing well here along the southern coast, and there are eagle cams everywhere.

Raptors in general are doing well. I've seen a large upswing in Robertson's and Red Tailed Hawks and Peregrine Falcons.
Saw the local Gyrfalcon too. Beautiful, in a 'death from above' sort of way.

There's a nesting pair of bald eagles out near Ganonoque Ontario. Usually catch sight of them a couple times a year.
