Geeze you guys have a lot of excuses not to join a simple website. Joining CKA wasn't to conformist for you was it?

You like facebook good on you. We just have no use for it. Many people our age join it to be on it. It's the "in" thing. I've just never been much of a follower.

I understand that, but a lot of people joined it to connect with friends. Apperantly young people nowadays don't do things because others do? What other things won't you do because everyone else does? No tattoo's for you, or earings, forget a drivers license.

Facebook was originally presented as a mode with which to reach out to old friends. In then took off in the teen to young adult set as "THE" place to be if you were anyone. Kind of like the hot new bar in town, you might not like the service, the atmosphere, but you go anyway because to not would put you outside of the "in" crowd. CKA is a board based in politics,entertainment,Canadian content things Dan and I both enjoy and get something out of. For "us" to join facebook would be like going to that hot new bar when he doesn't drink and i hate bars.

That's not what we have been saying. We have had no reason to join, and are happy that we aren't following a trend because it is a trend. That's all.
