rediculous....is that the definition for most leftist ideology?
Most people in Winnipeg have complained of the longest, coldest, winter in memory. They don't like it when I point out this winter didn't set any records for cold. I was just 4 years old during the blizzard of 1966. That night it was -45°C, real temperature not wind chill, the coldest temperature ever recorded in Winnipeg. We had frost on the inside wall in one corner. In the morning, snow was blown to the eve on one side of the house. Just one side, but for our house that completely covered the living room window. For three nights in January 2005 the weather reports at the time said -40.4°, -40.6, and -41.0°C. Again, real temperature, not wind chill. But most winters we have a few cold days, but most days it's mild during the day and cold at night. Many people comment about the warm snap in February, with temperatures a couple degrees above freezing. Just during daylight, but just in time to melt the ice sculptures for the winter festival called Festival de Voyageur. This year that didn't happen. This year it was cold during the day. We had the greatest number of days where it was cold during daylight. When I say "cold", I mean below -20°C, some below -30°C. Real temperature, not wind chill, and during daylight.
Today it's warm.
