Some idiot decided to go north to visit. Our daughter didn’t get any time off so... it’s -25 with a wind chill of -37. Of course the grandson has 3 snow suites and lots of hats and mittens. I didn’t remember a hat or my good gloves.

It's -23C before wind chill... the warmest it will get until Wednesday is -18C.

-25 here no wind so it’s actually not bad here. We are heading home today it’s -11 damp and has a wind chill. Hopefully the driving won’t be too bad hit some interesting spots on the way here I slowed down on packed snow but lots of people passed me like I was standing still.

Today has been a perfect winter day.
Its cold ... for sure but its gently snowing big fluffy flakes. We walked to the plaza and had a coffee at Timothy's to warm up, and then walked back. I had the whole week off work and today I got to spent it with my favourite person. Life is good

It's -36°C with a windchill of -47 here in PA.Today is our 5th anniversary being back in Canada, where we went from +25°C to -25°C from the beginning of our trip in Kaohsiung to our final stop in Winnipeg.

Well, it had to happen. It dropped below -30°C today. Time to just stay inside. At least it'll be mild(er) Monday, and the first have of January.

Since coming back, I can honestly say I haven't felt'warm', as in comfortably so, until temps go over 25°C. Anything below that and I have to at least wear a sweater over regular shirts and heavier sweats.

It's just at the cusp of -40. Went out to start the truck, and the highway that is 5km away sounds like it's in the neighbour's yard.

I missed that, been a couple years since we hit -40.

Strangely enough, St-John's Newfoundland is the second warmest place in Canada.

It's warmer here than it is in the far south of the province. When it gets this cold and dry the wife builds up static charges like a damned taser. Everything she touches.....zzzżaappp.
