Lucky you as we're lucky to get below 17C at night here lately.

According to Environment Canada there is a 30% chance of a thunderstorm overnight/early morning today. Rain would be freaking amazing as we haven't had any since June 15th but the possibility of lightning is a bit scary since it's so damn dry.

So it sprinkled a little bit this morning. It was nice to go stand on the deck and feel the coolness of the rain though. Environment Canada is indicating more thunderstorms this afternoon but forecasting a high of 28C as well.

There is definitely haze from wildfire smoke. I'm feeling it as my eyes are irritated and my sinuses are in overdrive.

Wow, it's 19C... at least there's no rain in the forecast until Monday. Then it starts warming up.

I went out early to rake the apples off the lawn and give it a monthly cut, but the rain pushed me inside.

Wanted to do wood work anyhow.

Sunny 30 but feels like 37…. Tomorrow it’s going to feel like 41!! The overnight temperatures aren’t looking nice either!

Well that little bit of rain last Saturday was barely enough to dampen anything.

Back to another heat warning here. Even right now as of 11pm it's 28C with the humidex. Next few days will be 30ish with the humidex into the mid-30's. Oy. What really sucks is the overnight low barely going under 20C.

One of our rare 30C days this year with a 40C humidex... the humidex is at 33C and it's only 9:30. Hot and humid for pretty much the whole week, mixed in with thunderstorms and rain.
