Mild right now +6C and cloudy. The teeny bit of snow from a few days ago is gone. It's supposed to get very windy later on today and rain forecast for the next several days with temps in the 6-9C range. Pretty much typical.

2 minutes outside without my mittens trying to d-ice a lock and the tip of my finger froze... that's what a -41C wind-chill will do.

Last weekend, I washed my truck before it dropped to -30. The lock mechanism stuck open, after I managed to get the door open. I had to drive to my buddies shop holding the truck door shut, so I could put it inside and let the ice melt.

They were forecasting a nasty rain/thunder/lightning/hail event today but around here it's been blue skies with a cloud here and there and temps around 10C all day.

They forecast last week that we'd be back in the deep freeze. It's +6 and water's been pouring off the tin roof all day, the dog barking up a frenzy whenever chunks of snow come with it! The driveway's pretty much bare except for the 2 ft wall at the road where the city plowed. They're supposed to plow the windrows of all seniors, but they told me I have to apply every year - you know, in case I somehow get younger...

Nasty out there today. Very windy this morning and when we headed out to do some shopping in the early afternoon and upon returning home it began to rain like hell and has been doing so ever since.

Joking outside today... supposed to get up to +20 tomorrow but the wind from the west blows over the big lake here that's still frozen.... it's +20 or -10 with the windchill The lake moderates everything, the cold arrives 2 weeks later, the warm arrives 2 weeks later compared to nearby towns.
