True. If it's cold, just stay close to the grill to stay warm. QED.

Even the "terraces" are open in Winter around here. Caribou: Is a sweet Québécois alcoholic beverage composed of red wine, hard liquor, usually whisky, and maple syrup or sugar.

Mrs. Lemmy's going out with her girlfriends, so I'm gonna hang home with the kids, watch some hockey and college football. I also got some new concert DVDs for Christmas: the new Rush "Time Machine" concert from Cleveland last summer, a collection of 5 Gary Moore shows from Montreux (1990 - 2001) and the Michael Schenker Group from Tokyo, 1997, so that and a box of Heineken ought to keep me comfortable. Happy New Year, all. Best wishes for 2012....and GO CANADA GO!!!

And it's called that because you wake the next morning feeling like you had slept in the snow, have antlers and spent the previous day eating lichens.

Here in North America an outdoor a BBQ for News Yew Years wouldn't work out too well. When I was a kid in Hawaii going swimming on New Years day was a tradition, since was moved back to the East Coast (like real fresh bananas) that tradition got left behind. Here in North America we have outdoor bbqs 365 days a year especially New Year's Eve. Where at? Sounds interesting, but isn't it a bit cold? This is where we watched the 2010 Olympic Gold Medal game and where we'll be tonight watching the US/Canada game. We've done Hockey Day in Canada at the same place at -23C, just have to keep the fire stoked.

Nope, just kidding, I have absolutely NO recollection of that day... ...and I'm glad I don't, even though it means I'll never know why I got this tattoo that day.

Happy New Years to you all. I'll be spending it at home with my pipe and Mr. Martin to keep me company.

It is going to be a quiet evening in here for the kids and I. Rained most of the day but has been mild. Fired up the BBQ and made some great steaks for supper and have a bunch of munchies to enjoy later. Likely watch a movie and just relax. Happy New Year to everyone!! Best wishes to you all in 2012. ![Drink up [B-o]](./images/smilies/drinkup.gif)
