One final point(that I should have made much earlier). A lot of the answers that you find when doing a google search are from threads that people have created (like this one with with less needless trolling). People make threads, they ask questions and the questions get answered. I may not be answering questions but just by asking a question and getting an answer I am contributing to the community because if someone else comes along with the same question then it may already be answered within my thread or even found in the thread via google search.
People really need to stop and think before being needlessly snarky to people that they don't even know.
