Home now,-3,cats in the basement hiding. They were filming Miami chill at the winnipeg airport when I got there, dont know if its legal but i'm tempted to put a vid of the star actor falling on her ass on youtube....A trailer of sorts. They must have done that take 5 times and my bud from Cape
Breton made sure he was west for the next few shots, she did have a mini skirt on. Hope she was wearing panties allthough she looked cold waiting for the next takes.

When did the Canadian Military get into film making or were they just extra's?Lot's hanging around today in the peg airport along with about a thousand for the film crew.

I dont watch many movies so dont know who the leading actress was but I got her on video.
Put it up later maybe, fucking beat from all this flying. :?

Whew!
Been on the road since 1am and finally made it to Rankin Inlet where we have a 4 hour wait. They tried to prioritize our bags again and I just about lost it.First they tell me the plane is full so only one bag,I told her their big boss said to send all our bags....no sending people to the Arctic without their luggage! They agreed, said they never take frieght over luggage.Yet they just said one bag. 8O so I told all 7 guys to dress up with anything they can that wont be missed from the bag that doesnt make it. So thats what were doing here in the airport, getting dressed up like Cartman on southpark.we then waited for all the other planes to leave before checking our luggage, pissed them right off but I told them we didnt want to take the chance of you guys sending our bags on another plane so we'll wait. Quite funny with a big crowd in here, pretty well made Calm air look like the incompetent airline that they are.
What a cluster like usuall.

Very cold, minus 47 at Yellowknife. About the same here.

Is it just my impression or is this ambition to conduct construction activity during winter in the great white north a total disaster?

They are.I said I would never work there again in february and true to my word I just got home this morning after waking up on #22 somewhere near the Maycroft turnoff.40 hours up and the heater in my truck couldnt warm me up,i'm still cold, broke my toe the other day, good times. 8O
-50 the other day in the new d9t and no way could I stay warm,I'm outta there.Plus they have 80 guys in a 70 man camp and are going to increase it to 110 next week, they want to convert the TV tent into a bunkhouse and put all the locals(Innuit) in there. The shitters cant keep up with what we have now,the stink of burning shit in the shower tent is enough to gag a maggot. I'ts become a mine complete with all the beauracracy. So Im done there, and i'm fucking glad to be home even if theres a foot of fresh snow in the last hour.

Might be going to Baffin island for a road job but think I'll wait a month,my feet are still fucking freezing.

Turn the page.

Toothaches too.I have a full set of crowns so figured out breathing through my nose cooled the titanium screws on my eye tooth to the point where I had a full jaw of steady toothaches.

Strange,it starts at -40 and colder.

Hey Zig there's about $30/40 M worth of road work being done in the Penhold / Innisfail / Spruceview area. Pihderney's is widening about 20 kilks of highway 54, lots of hoe work. Beddoes is rebuilding the Innisfail north interchange and adding a second bridge. And a contract has just been awarded to build a new 2A from Innisfail to Penhold, I haven't heard who got that though. One of the hottest areas in the province this year.

That is unless the Liberals get in and cancel everything.

ROTFL ROTFL
