Being able to do whatever you feel like doing. "I think I'll go fishing today" or, " I'm gonna go for a ride on the scooter this week", or "To hell with cutting the lawn"!
Like FOG noted, being able to get away with saying whatever is on your mind. At most, resulting in a " Oh Christ! Here we go again. 'The world' according to Dad"! Which of course is answered with a blank stare.

Better get checked for dementia then, if you're doing that blank stare a lot.
