I suggest we come up with a medal for those that go around rep pointing people weeks and in some cases (STREAKER, Donny Brasco) months after a post and entire thread was written. I know I am not the only one around here who has noted it.

And, if you only rep VIP (very important posts ) it might take months before you can rep the same person again, with all the bullshit that is spewed around here

I think the point I am getting at here is I have noted with the sudden enforcement of rules around here for the first time in 7 years I've been around, The rep system is being used for flaming in some cases as a means to skirt the forums.

As for the kissing ass mtbr, in many cases I agree with you when you see positive rep comments like "just because", you have to laugh. These of course are usually the same people who act as though the system is no big deal to them, when infact for some (snicker) it is their reason for living, without their rep points or the ability to constantly whine to mods via PM, they'd really be in a pickle.

we should get rid of them. How many discussions heve we had about this since they were introduced? Rep points are like religion, they start wars.
