I did not put myself on a podium and talked down my nose to other people and pretended to take the "moral high ground".
My only point in this whole argument is that if you're going to denounce someone/something because it is insulting to someone else, denounce it in all its forms; not just in the form of a medal.
Guess what? Many of have tried to denounce insults and flaming in other threads only to be attacked for it because we didn't name specifically every single person in the thread that may have also been behaving badly, or because a year ago we may have called that noob timmy a dirty cocksucker. I recall someone just a few weeks ago trying to cool a thread down and he got a kick in the ass for it. So don't think we haven't tried it, you yourself know what it's like. And yes I've insulted people before, I don't make it a hobby but I've done it. Does that mean I can never speak up for anyone who's being insulted from now on? I don't think so.
