When I am sick and need to see my doctor, I make an appointment and see him. He may perscribe some medication for me to take, and I go to the pharmacy, flash my status card, and see lots of conquered PINK faces frowning at me while they have to pull out their wallets and pay with cash or credit cards. HOW DID YOU CONQUER ME?

When my tooth aches and I need a root canal. When I get into a fight with 3 skids and lose a tooth kicking the shit out of 2 of 3 of them, I call my dentist. As long as I don't need braces? It is covered with my status card! Meanwhile the Canadians waiting in line have to pay cash or with their credit card and their faces all PINK with frustration....I feel you baby! Why didn't you side with us long ago? Now you are paying for the stupid choice of your old people! HOW DID YOU CONQUER ME?

So therefore I had to get a student loan for the web program I couldn't finish because I was working full time to pay rent and food. But if I ever transferred to another nation who is thriving? I could end up in a higher end computer program where I could get everything paid for. And I could pick up my books and pay them with cash deposited in my account. The Native Americans were terribly easy to conquer.

They didn't have a common language so they didn't communicate all that well.

They had not developed metallurgy save but for gold smithing and very minor instances of copper smithing.

They were not able to set aside their mutual animosities so they could unite to repel the European invaders.

For the most part they were absent a written language and were therefore unable to develop and educational system of any sort past relating oral information.

They were susceptible to diseases that no one understood until the late 1800's (which is why it is utter nonsense to blame the Europeans for spreading diseases because the Europeans didn't understand biology any better than the natives did when they arrived in North America).

They were susceptible to these diseases because they lived relatively isolated lives and came into contact with few outsiders - thus theur immunities never built up the same as did the immunities of Asians, Africans, and Europeans.

And that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Once again Chauchee is promoting his hatred of non-natives. He seems to think that using programs that are paid for by the rest of us as a tool to promote his special status is going to offend and outrage.

I tend to look at it differently. I look at it as he is not conquered but he is dependant on us. He is like the nations pet. We have to pay for his education (In his case the lack thereof.) and his health and everything else that the rest of us WORK for.

He speaks of history as if he had actually lived it but, he is only a result of mismanaged apathy.

I do believe that a strong majority of natives in this country appreciate what is done for them and would rather work for a living than be so dependant upon others for his very existance. He shows no gratitude or thankfulness that our European ancestors did not wipe them out.

I love seeing people of ALL colors have a chance to enjoy a breakfast I get to enjoy anytime I want. I love to see both indian kids and Canadian kids have fun for just that one day. To me it doesn't matter if the parent is a single parent, or a lazy person, or someone who deals or uses drugs. It is simply soothing to see kids enjoy one day out of a month while poor kids in so many other countries never see such a day in their life.
