yeah.. more money to blow on booze and drugs, or build a nice garage for the chief's nice house.

Money, money, money - that seems to be the clarion call of Native groups. I don't deny them justice, but why is there always a $$$$ attached? Bring the accused to justice, try them, sentence the guilty, but 15 Billion?!?!? Come on.

It's becoming a cottage industry, It's like suing the Roman Catholic Church Parishes.
It's often easier to pay money than go through the trouble of trying to prove your innocent, although not all were.

Extortion is usually more profitable (and fun too!) than doing something as pedestrian as finishing school and then getting a job.

Considering that residentail school victims got $1.9B, I doubt that day school victims will get $15B. But yes, it seems th skill the First Nations have developed most in the last couple of decades is how to extract wealth wihtout producing.
