I really liked the closing ceremony. The only thing I didn't get was the line up from Nickelback to K-os. I was hoping for Sam Roberts' 'Fixed to ruin' or even Sloan's 'If it feels good do it'. Neil Young was cool, though.

I don't know why Simple Plan was there.
I mean, all the other artists had songs that made sense and related to the games in some way. Keep on Running, Wunderkind, Burn it to the Ground, etc. But Your Love is a Lie? WTF?!

Neil Young should have sung Heart of Gold... but that would've been rubbing it in their faces. Like the SCTV lady said, we're too polite!

There wasn't enough french entertainment. There are hundreds of very very talented Quécois(e) that could have been asked to entertain, both in the opening and the closing ceremonies.. Would have loved to see Don Cherry have a part as well.
