Holy fuck, just saw the luge accident in Whistler video, I will be surprised if he is alive. The guy was a rag doll and fly right out of the track and hit a metal poll dead on at full speed.

Well, luge is like NASCAR isn't it. Why else would you watch luge but for the accidents? I guess you can say the same about downhill, but that's different, because I can relate to the skill involved, put myself in the skiier's place.

The video was up on Youtube my friend just watched it, but its already taken down. Someone in the comments said the luger is dead... totaly unconfirmed though.

I saw a youtube video of the crash. 140 km/hr and ejected off his sled and then hits a steal beam. No wonder he is in allot of trouble it looked very painfull.
