Good points Ryan29. Ontario is on a shitty slope, going further into the toilet and I can't see how these sad mandarines deserve any sort of raise.

And yet, the CONSERVATIVES supported it. How do you reconcile that objective fact in your partisan junk?

but your wording in misleading they might of supported the raise for mpp's but they have clearly came out against the huge raises the civil sevrents are geting. tory has said many times he wants to see the waste stop and the civil service cut back .
( i personally do not support the raise for mpp's , i think tory made a huge msitake by expecting that money , it likely cost him alot of votes and during tough economic times was not really good idea )

but they have been clear in there position , they do not support the huge waste of taxpayers money taking place under the liberals watch at queens park , the fact the economy is geting slower yet these sunshine list people are making more is disgusting they should be ashamed of themself . the liberals clearly are the big spenders here , allowing for huge amounts of taxpayers money to go to these civil servants who are now making big bucks well the province suffers .

I'm all for strict accountability for civil servants but I also understand the need to pay them fair market value or we'd have complete tools in those jobs as all the good ones will go work for the private sector....

Whatever - your PARTY supported MPP raises and yet you remain suspiciously quiet about it in your incessant partisan cry fits. This is why no one takes you seriously - you don't care about economic downturns, civil servant salaries or alleged government largesse insomuch as you want to throw sucky tantrums about getting your ass handed to you in an election.

I'm sorry i don't live in super, fantastic, puppy and candy Ryan la-la land, but in the adult world recessions are real (and aren't pinned on ONE level of government), some civil servants deserve their salaries and some people think BEFORE posting. Go cry about your station in life, but i'm fine with chiefs of Police earning 6 figures salaries. By the way, you should be happy, i hear you got a raise this week to over $10 an hour - i guess your trashcan community college diploma will pay for itself.

underpaid you have got to be kidding me , these civil servants are making big bucks it appears .

i don't think a raise would of been that bad if the province was say booming or doing really good financially , but its just the wrong time . as many average people have lost there jobs and cannot find good jobs . its the wrong time for politicians and civil servants to be geting raises.

they should demostate that the province is in better financial and economic shape firts before they start handing out raises for no reason .

dalton and his whiped mpp's can quit and join the private sector anytime . they will not be missed. if they feel they are being underpaid then maybe they should seriously consider doing this and stop screwing the taxpayer when at queens park . as it appears they don't care how much money they waste or if province is in good economic shape .

1 sector is doing bad but others are booming. Thats why the decreasing unemployment punctuated nicely by the hundreds of thousands of jobs added.

Perhaps you missed (or likely simply ignored) the 1.2 billion that Dalton slated to retrain those out of work autoworkers (and others) hit by job losses compared to the measly few million dished out by your beloved Harper.

btw, You still ignore the fact that your PCs voted ofr the very same raise and enjoy those very same salaries.

Is Ryan crying partisan tears again? Good God, how many times has this happened. If a meteorite fell from the sky and hit Ryan's 1992 Ford Festiva (a wedding gift from the guy his mom claims is his dad), Dalton McGuinty would be at fault for spending too much money on MPP salaries and not enough on hick-truck falling space item defence.

Hey, what do Ryan and John Tory have in common? Neither one of them will be collecting this MPP raise!
