Wow this reminds me of my days of subway usage and as great as the subway is Im really glad I dont have to ride it with the dirty non-deodorant using people of this city.
I remember a while back a subway operator once came on the loud speaker of the subway in the middle of rush hour to tell a passenger to stop picking his nails in public because it was grossing him out... It was hilarious!

haha awesome. sometimes operators sing the stops or tell jokes. ie. "next stop, bloor st. not redder, not greener, bloor"

Heh, one of the guys that drives the Queen streetcar says "thanks for smiling" to anyone who comes on the streetcar with a smile on their face. It's fun to watch people's reactions.

the sad thing is i honestly think these people just aren't aware of their surroundings. its not that they consciously disregard being polite i think they ACTUALLY don't notice it. which goes to show how much everyone's head is in the sand.

There's this bus driver (44) who announces the latest weather, he's cheerful and generally has a good sense of humour. Wish there were more like him.
