Not quite, I know what you were getting at bub, but nice try.

Uhhh, I don't think you do. I'm on your side Avro. Sort of, anyway.

Anyways it's over for us now but I am not sure how AMO will feel about the CUPE bill.

AMO will hate it because it's probably been ill-thought out and will likely end up costing the cities a fortune in the long run.

I don't think Mcguinty did his math on this one.

Good for a' mois though!

Sid Ryan folded like a cheap suit!

All he got was a promise that the government would revisit the issue in 6 years?

McGuinty 1- Ryan 0

Because you were nice about it earlier I will let you think that but this is what we wanted.

They made a vague promise that wasn't good enough so we got the power of legislation.

Who wins or loses won't be determined until the end of an independant review.

The power of legislation? You got a "promise" they'll revisit the legislation....nothing more.

The union decided not to strike and for that you think it is necessary to insult them and gloat? You can't be old enough to vote.....

BTW - There is another strike looming....

The college teachers in Ontario have voted to strike on a week from Tuesday if they don't get their deal.......

Of course they vote for a strike during every contract negotiation, but haven't had a strike for 20 years.....we'll see what happens...

Of course.

Sid Ryan refused this same offer from McGuinty earlier in the week and then all of a sudden, when some locals say they won't comply and strike...he folds like a cheap suit.

I don't praise unions for not proceeding with an ILLEGAL strike.

You know, Vitamin "D", if you had a clue, you'd be dangerous.
