An anonymous 911 call led police to Lunness Rd at about 3 a.m. today, where they found a bullet-riddled vehicle and the bodies of three men inside.
Late today they were identified as Adrian Inglis Bannerman, 29, Aaron Brendan Macdonald, 20, and Kurt Atiba Charles, 27, all of Toronto. They had been shot repeatedly. None was in the driver's seat...
This is what struck me the most about this story:

This isn't about race or whatever but about the fact that these are mugshots.

Korth, 63, has lived on Lunness Rd. for 29 years and said there's rarely anything to be concerned about in the area. But he said he didn't want to get involved for fear someone might come after him.
"These guys didn't get popped because they missed church," he said.
Amen. These boys were known at some level by the cops and likely not for ripping off mattress tags. Why are they "victims"? A kid getting caught in a crossfire is a victim, an old lady pushed down a flight of stairs for eight bucks is a victim. These boys are not. To be a victim portends some semblance of innocence.
I see none here, and I usually fly to the left on most things too. Thoughts?
