Well didn't that beat all.

TV show is named "Paint this town and sell it".

It will be aired on the Ladies network (whatever that is).

Day one...
Town council e-mails the store I work for with a list of Demands.
Yes we are to cater to these.....
these...
THEM. At no cost of course (mooching, leeching, freeloading users from..the city.)
This so our mayor can be on TV.

Day two...
Took three city folks to lead a horse down main street.
The star of the show is wearing stilletos....as she is pretending to lead said horse.
Poor horse...felt ashamed as the "other" host was ogling it's rear.. .

Day three..
The painting begineth...
MAO...
One of the color schemes looked like something that came out of my dog after he got into the kids' nerf balls okay...

And these are professional designers.

Day four:

Trees, they are planting One year old maples and cedars...in planters on main street.
There is no way these young saplings will survive a winter in a planter.
In the ground no problem but a planter???
Where was research on that one?

Never mind the fact that thay are going to get plowed this winter..

Day five..
The stars/hosts of the show all manicured and stetsoned (for some unknown reason) get filmed.
Putting in a ...A/ one plant on main street.
LOCAL VOLUNTEERS DID ALL THE WORK!!!

If you happen to channel surf and find this "show" let it be known no murals were painted...
They are slap on tarps.
Pre printed.

Trucks on main street have been detoured, traffic flow has been halted,
our building permit for the store expansion is being held hostage and all of this because a few town bureaucrats working on their glute expansion want to be on TV.

I love my tax dollars working for us.
