I TOTALLY F'N CALLED IT! AHAHAHHA I KNEW IT. Woot! Told you some Yankee was going to do this,  FTW. Joker is still awesome, btw. Shame on this asshole for trying to shame the name.

Sorry, Didn't think many Americans were offended by that term... They call us "Canucks", you know. You can feel free to call us that,  I like the term Yankee though...  Yankee Doodle rode into town riding on a pony, stuck a feather in his hat and called it macaroni...

Well, okay, Yankee is fine. I take offense to the term Yank though. I won't call you guys Canucks though, as names liek that (Yankee, Yank, Canuck, Limey, etc.) are stupid as hell.  Anyway, it's cool. I hope I didn't offend anyone here though.

The event's around here are named after such National nicknames,  "Cool Yankee", "Uber Canuck", "CanuckTube", a bunch of shirts on CKA's shop... Etc, lol. I use those names alot... I mean "Yank" = One syllable... "American" = 4. And I'm lazy, What exactly is offencive about the term "Yank"? I view it about as bad as "Cracker", lol.

Well, i guess it's because I've heard it used as a negative connotation mostly.
Stuff like, "you retarded yank" or "you ignorant yank."
I guess that's why, but yankee isn't that bad I don't think.
