Oh that whining cow Marois is on the prowl once again. There are much more pressing political issues that she could be overseeing than to comment on that useless crap. Quebec athletes are part of the Canadian team. The athletes themselves are not even concerned about it, she only says that to stir up some BS.

My memory is a little lite on this but I think it was the 02 Salt Lake games, a woman speed skater did a lap with the Sask. Flag around her shoulders. It could have been Lemay- Doan, at time I thought this was going to cause a curfuffal in Quebec but never heard a peep from there. I guess no one thought at the time that this was a big deal.

God these Quebec Sepretists are pissing me off, they are there to represent there country which is Canada. Not there province. They are not a individual nation, so they can just piss the hell off.
Scotland and Whales gave up there power to the British, so they are now Britain and not a individual nation either. The Birth of Canada is a story of French people and English people who came to forge a country. Canada never came in and attacked them, or forced them to be apart of Canada. There ancestors did it on there free will.
Neither of them deserve to be represented as a individual nation unless they actually seperate and become on. Quebec expecially since Quebec was never once a individual nation, and Quebec was not argessivly taken. They agreed to 'create' the country they now want to seperate from.
Though if they want to seperate so badly, why don't we just let them? Here you go quebecers, you are now your own individual country. Oh wait, whats that? Since your your own country, your economy is different now since its not joined in Canada's anymore? You want to come back, because it isn't working out as you thought it would? I can just imagine that now, once they seperate, they come crawling back.

Well I'm sorry, but I was born a Canadian, not an Ontarian, and so for me, Country comes before my province, which is only one beautiful piece of thsi grand mosaic we call Canada.
My Nation comes above my province any day...
