because a vote for the bloc is equal to a waste of a vote. Separatism is dead and will only be talked about again in history books as the rest of Canada (and most of Quebec) is just waiting for the older separatist to die off. When "to stop a harper majority" is the only reason a party is giving you to vote for than they're admitting their policies and party are a complete joke. (the bloc isn't the only party giving this reason for votes to, so this extends to their parties as well)

and you should want to contribute to a Canadian political party for the benefit of Canada, not a provincial party only interested in one province.

Hey, then do you think we could readadress equalization payments?

That's #1 in the Ontario Block platform followed by proportional representation.

Then 5 million Ontario residents vote for the Ontario Block and form the Canadian government with help from the BQ.
:D

Oh Lord, attitudes like yours Bacardi are what make me nuts. Misinformed generalizations, Anti-Quebec attitude, wrong assumptions.

The majority of Quebecers do not want to separate from Canada, we've had 2 referendums to confirm that.

The bitching you are hearing is coming from Separatists, and the last time I looked, separatism has been put on the shelf for lack of interest from the population. The parti Québécois is a shadow of it's former self and the Bloc is fighting for relevance within Parliament.

Oh yeah, there are as many cool Quebecers as there are cool Ontarians, or Albertans (Aging Redneck included, I'm determined to change his attitude about Quebec as well), so stop with the attacks already.

If they make you nuts, you know there's a option you can choose right? It's called ignoring a post but hey, if you want to respond and get more 'attitude' from me, thats fine with me.

Question however, how exactly am I misinformed? Do Quebecers not want to seperate? Was I misinformed there? Do some Quebecers dislike Canada (otherwise they wouldn't want to seperate), was I misinformed there? Do some Quebecers detest the English Language in Quebec? Go take a trip to Quebec, and try speaking english. I am sure you will get a warm welcome ;).

As for the seperating, excuse me? Diddn't the vote end at 49% for seperation? Yeah, maybe not a majority. Darn, lost by 2%. How could I!

I originally made my comments about Quebec Sepretists when somebody brought them up, no where in my original posts or my posts regarding Seperation did you hear me even mention the Bloc or any party at all. They were directed to one thing only, Quebec Sepretists since it was brought up. I kept my on-topic section in a different post.

Also I am not attacking Quebec, or Quebecers. I am attacking Quebec sepretists, if you can call it a 'attack'.

I an sick and tired of Ottawa paying Quebec to be Canadian. Quebec's transfer payments since 1969 are enough to have paid off the national debt.

As long as quebec is tainted with hyphenated canadians, we are better off without you.

Isn't that a lovely comment.. people like you should be thrown out of the country.
you insight hatred..
