Harper dosen't need to defend anything on this. This wasn't some planned sting or smear campaign, and it had nothing to do with the CPC. This mess is all at Dion's feet and I'm also sick of hearing that this was underhanded or wrong for the media to report on this.

Its not that the media reported it but that Harper deliberately spun the miscommunication into something it wasn't.
