I've lived in Winnipeg all my life and am itching to move to Vancouver. It's not a bad City here if you are young and into the "What's in" stuff. And maybe not so bad for a family person with kids (But the winters are hell). But Winnipeg has doesn't have much else to offer.

I can't comment on outside Winnipeg. Only visited, never lived.
