And I'm not saying ethanol is a bad venture, but what give the right for the RM to invest peoples money for them. If I want an ethanol plant I'd invest in or build an ethanol plant.
You dont have to build a plant,just grow the crop. Up to you if you want to make some money as even a bad crop is good for ethanol,at least you would have a steady yearly income.
But,stick with the old farmer ways and be held hostage by mother nature.
Depends on if you can change after growing the same crop year after year,or if your willing to plant something that would work in ethanol.
Even if your crop is toast because of too much or less moisture you will still be able to sell it for ethanol. Lots of farms in Alberta are gearing up for that right now. Dont say I didnt tell you about this.
