Read the comments section. Don't think the woman is getting too much sympathy, and CBC(the new TMZ North) is getting knocked for sensationalism. Plenty have pointed out that she had recorder going before the altercation even started, so there is more to this story than is being reported. There's a history here that needs to be investigated.

The chief's position is a volunteer one, so if they give him the boot , they may cause some serious problems, as it's a tiny community(which is about all I know about it). I've been there a few times, as it's close to my in laws farm, and it's my FiL's hometown.

Its clearly a message that as an outsider in this very small town, shes a second-class citizen.
