I think Bob Dylan's song Girl Fromthe North Country is a beatiful song with great emotional relvence to Saskatchewan;

The tune comes from Scarbough Fair, but I really like the descriptions of winter, and though it is a lost love song it could be interpreted as someone longing for home.
