I think he would look good standing in front of our parliment bulding with a Canadian Flag waving in the background with a tiny american flag in one of the corners.

I don't even think Bloc should be a party... I live in Ontario by the way and I don't agree with the way the constitution is because of whats goign on with Quebec being French only... The majority of Canada is English and if I were in politics I would make English the only official language

Well, the Bloc only represent Quebec, whereas the other parties represent the majority of Canadians (including Quebec).

It's funny how Gilles Duceppe really likes getting his paycheque from the Federal Government. There is no whining on his part for that !

Also, the Bloc does not get the vote on behalf of all Quebecers. How could I vote for a Federal party which promotes the separation of Quebec

IMO, Gilles Duceppe should get out of politics.

I don't see why it is a problem since that the people who voted for him and for the Bloc pay taxes too.

No. They represent the people that vote for them.

Like Elvis pointed out, with the taxes we pay.

No but they get enough to votes to be elected. Democracy, live with it.

As long as people will vote for him, I doubt he will. And apparently, getting 50/75 seats is pretty good. And seems he is representing a majority of Québéc ridings.
