Quote:
The anti-corporation “Occupy Wall Street” movement has spread to Canada, with similar protests scheduled to take place in Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Victoria, Ottawa, Montreal, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.

In Toronto, activists anticipate hundreds of demonstrators will rally in the heart of the city’s financial district within weeks, followed by a march outside the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Because some people are just too stupid to think logically about stuff and just go with the flow.

It's a flopping fish in the United States. Why would they bother here, considering our economy is doing better?

Very silly. I'm sure I'd recognise a few faces from the G20 riots. The renta-mob crowd have found a new 'cause'.

I heard one plonker in NYC (on the Beeb World Service) compare the movement to the Arab Spring.

Take a look at their poster

Image

They don't even know what they are demonstrating against... Let alone the ideas to resolve the "reasons" of their actions. Their  isn't shining bright.

It was the same at the G20. The real active idiots didn't know what they were demonstrating against. "Harper" was about all they could manage.

Makes them feel better annoying people. An actual coherent message would be a novel thing for these wasters.

That why they are called "useful idiots". They are good at not thinking while the few real left wing ideologues manipuling them are getting their anti-capitalist message passed with the importance of the masses. An old trick.

Right. Reminds me of Lenin after the October Revolution. The first people he had rounded up and murdered were the key revolutionaries because they were the obvious threat to stability.

Same thing here. If these jacktard communists ever got their way and they installed a communist dictatorship then the first thing their new leader would do is to round them up and kill them. Of course, since none of them know their history they'll blithely go to the abbatoir singing the International.

History repeats itself.

A little reading of The Road to Serfdom and you understand it all.

Complaining about the protetors doesn't eliminate the reality that the financial sector really is run by criminals. And that a lot of them should be in prison for what they've been doing to the American economy and to the American public. And that there's a desperate need for the government to massively regulate the banking system so this sort of self-inflicted greed-fueled crisis can't happen again.

Laughing at the protestors in their pothead neo-hippy garb or calling them all Communists is one thing. Deliberately turning your backs to the real villains of the financial disaster is something else all together. The system has to be fixed and the public protected because these jackals are just going to do it all over again as soon as they get the chance.

What does this have to do with Canada? Why even come to Canada when we didn't suffer the same clusterfuck as the United States? These protesters are sheep. They protest because they're being told to protest, and the fact their "demands" differ not from various protest movements over the last what? 40 years now? Just goes to show that.
