Agreed, this has no place in any school. Kids are there to learn, not to browbeaten over politics (which really has no place in a 5th grade class.) by an over zealous democrat supporting teacher.

We vote for politicians based on there policies, not there skin color. This is no different than those people who won't vote for barrack because hes black or who votes for McCain because hes white. The exact same thing.

I had a "pretend vote" during the Bush/Gore election, it's kinda funny since the tally of the school were within five votes out of a school of 250. It was back in the...4 or 5th grade too.

I've disliked all of my teachers, with the exception of two. That's from grade one through secondary education. I've had teachers with far more phsycotic behavior than she's displaying here. I'm sure my social studies teacher had acid flashbacks in class every once in awhile.

I went through an explanation of how the system works with my high school
kids back in 2000.
But just a desciption of voting, electoral college, Senate and House,
State races, normal stuff.. no 'I like Ike' nonsense..

that bitch should fired, and all political crap out of schools,
except as extra cirricular.
