MJ was not the reason for the meth or the pharmacy of anti-depressants, sleeping pills and the rest of the garbage that she had in her system. The formulary of drugs we have to make people better can also be a gateway.

Do you know if she had a beer or smoked tobacco? That argument has as much bearing upon a cycle of dependency that lead to her death. Regardless, she died because of excess. Just because a drug is legal doesn't make it any safer.
