Is it just me or does anyone else want to drive in the teeth of that moron in the BoFlex commercial. Everytime I hear the line "I gave all my fat clothes to my fat friends" I feel an almost uncontrolalbe urge to make teeth soup.

Hhmmm. I once gave all my civilian clothes to my civilian friends.

I think the context is one of commitment.

If you give away your fat clothes it is a statement that you are commited to your change.

Giving them to your fat friends is a bit of an insult - especially if those friends ever see the commercial.
