Buying your kids better Christmas gifts next year, so they don't get pissed at you and do this again.

Freezing is the only way that has worked for me. If you can get some dry ice it works great if you rub it on the gum. Just how much gum are we talking about though?

Maybe peanut butter or canola oil rubbed into it?

Only if you can wash the insole afterwards.

Thanks ...I thought about oil but solved the issue by gently pulling up on the fibers and cutting with an exacto blade . No harm done and almost unoticable as the soles of the felt are very thick ....Now where did that kid go grrrrr lol

Peanut butter will remove gum beautifully from hair.

So will scissors

Maybe on a boy, but not when the gum is stuck in your daughter's long blonde hair. ;)

yeah as long as the style remained perfect and the length of her hair was kept even then there would be no harm ...

..Would sheep sheers work ? :D :P

Gum in Hair? Last time I got gum in hair was when I feel asleep with a huge fucking wad in my mouth.

I woke up. Got up. And so did my pillow.

The large wad completly stuck the side of my head to the pillow.

So I went to school the next day with a nice haircut, :P not. :(
