Saw that one early in the morning, turned the corner and there he was. he was huge and he could move fast. a week or so later around the same area I spotted a cow/calf, I never thought a calf could run that fast, it was incredible.

edit: there was a narrow area just to the left of the picture, saw them once we got out of there. once we got into the clear cut they just ran on the road for over a K. we stopped the truck because we didn't want to stress them out to much but they kept on running

Nice,with the logged out roads it looks like my home town in Alberta.

Still blizzarding here and I have to go for a leak....it's too early for a piss jug yet!

My good friends i worked with last year are here from Whitehorse and other parts around Canada.Some are trying to go home,heh,not much flying happens here around september.
