How is it our freakin' gubment can throw MILLIONS at the TSUNAMI VICTIMS but can't guarantee me and my Family Free and Comprhensive Health Care.Oh yeah and how about our military that just Flagged a ride over there.Hundreds of millions of dollars.I think what I could do with that kinda cash,WOOOOOOO.
Shouldn't they spend that money here at home first?

I'm definitely in favour of the gov't giving money, and it's nice to see that the amount is now decent, too.

Canada is one of the richest countries in the world. Most of the countries stricken by the tsunami are relatively poor and have very limited resources with which to recover from this disaster. That we should be helping seems to me to be a no-brainer...

You are right of course we can always use tax breaks and social programs to help our fellow Canadians at home.

But our poorest of the poor are still better off than those that have been struck by this disaster.

I for once feel that the Government of Canada is doing what its people want by giving this much needed help to these poor people. And judging by the amount being donated by the people of this wonderful country the
Government has read the feelings of the people of Canada and got it spot on for once. WELL DONE CANADA!

Well Canada has always been all talk and no action, but im happy there helping.
