Hey!
This is a silly rant...
But I'm a pretty fit guy. I try to run at least 5x a week (5k each time which works out to around 30 minutes hardcore running each time), and my arms and stomach and that are all thin and fit, but my damn thighs!
It pisses me off...I mean they're muscular, but I don't want big thighs...it annoys me...but I don't want to stop running either (because its the only form of exercise I actually enjoy and do).
Is there a way to slim down thighs for guys?!

Run more. Look at the marathoners, they're pretty skinny, including the thighs. The only runners with bug thighs are the sprinters. The guys with the thighs are the cyclists, like myself. It can make it hard to fit pants because the waist/thigh ratio is off. Running on the flats actually works the backs of the legs more than the front.
Or, you know, just be happy that you're fit, accept the way you're built and quit being such a girl about it.

Andy said what I was going to say. Long distance running breaks down muscle mass. Don't lose too much because looking like Abebe Bikila is just another extreme.
Alternate the longer distance by running the shorter distances a litle faster. Try for 5k under 21 minutes and 8k under 40. That'll give you the wind and strength to go a longer distance.

I had the same problem when I was younger and tight jeans were the norm... 6 feet tall, 210 pounds and a 32 inch waist. I had to buy jeans at least 4 inches larger at the waist to get them up my legs. I still have strong, large legs but at least I can find loose fitting jeans.

Yeah, that's the thing.
My jean size is 31/32, so I have a pretty slim waist and my upper torso is small too, but me jeans sometimes fit tight (not at the waste but around the thighs) because me upper legs are big.
And I agree, being at the other end of the spectrum is just as ridiculous. Guys with skinny legs look extremely stupid. I just don't like how many upper legs are disproportionate to the rest of my body.
But yeah, right now (since its winter and I can't run outdoors...well I am living in Vancouver, so I CAN run outdoors...but its been raining everyday this week so not gonna happen), I'm running 30 minutes on a treadmill going from 8.3 speed setting and upping it .1 every 5 minutes which correlates to about 5km.
My legs aren't fat...they're just too big from the muscles I've gained there...so I know this sounds weird, but I want to break down the muscles in my leg.

You sound like you looked like an upper body freak at 210 and only a 32 inch waist.

You sound like you looked like an upper body freak at 210 and only a 32 inch waist. My upper body was developped but I was no body-builder. I think most of my muscle-mass was in my legs. That's what 50-100 miles of cycling a day did to me.

A date? How'd you know!
lol. I'm a little obsessed with running. Have to run 5x a week or I feel unhealthy... Lots of body issues right here, haha.
