This would require a huge national testing program to ensure that size 7 feet, for example, are the same in all provinces, between each race, and gender. Gender specific and age specific shoe sizes have no place in a progressive and inclusive country.
I'm going to suggest this to my federal NDP MP, just to see if she takes the bait

The testing would be biased as soon as women start trying on the shoe's. My x would struggle into a size 6 and complain about it shrinking and yet I could wear her snowmobile boots her feet were so big.
"Never mind the shoes,she'll just take the boxes", used to get a chuckle out of the salesman saying that while shopping with her.One way to get out of shopping.
